Nicolò’s research is focused on the study of CMB observations. He investigates, through software simulations, the propagation of systematic effects, such as 1/f and cross-correlated noise, to the detected radiation of the future CMB satellite LiteBIRD. Also, he’s working on the effect generated by a non-ideal half-wave plate, specifically taking into consideration circular polarization in addition to the canonical linear polarization formalism.
