Estimation of Physical Parameters

The automatic estimates of the main features of each single burst found with the off-line search, have been checked and refined one by one, after visual inspection of the light curves and of the background fits established by the automatic off-line quest. Once the background fit around each burst has been refined, the total counts and the peak counts estimates are re-calculated in each GRBM unit, in both energy bands.

Then, the $T_{90}$ and $T_{50}$ durations are computed from the refined background substracted light curves. As for the localization technique described in section , the way the arrival direction is estimated, when feasible, has been treated extensively in section .
