The social programme includes:
- The “aperitivo”, during the poster session on Tuesday May 24th (included in the registration fee)
- The social dinner on Thursday May 26th (50 euro)
- An excursion in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 25 to the Museo Ferrari in Maranello. The cost is 75 euro and includes transportation by bus (about 1 hour each way), a lunch box, admission and a guided tour of the museum in English. Please note: the excursion will only take place if we reach a minimum of 50 participants by May 3rd.
Please be aware that on Sunday 29th (during the weekend following the workshop) the Palio of Ferrara will take place: this is a historical competition dating back from medieval times that includes, among other attractions, a famous horse race. The event is worth seeing. In any case, should you plan to stay in Ferrara over the weekend following the workshop, please consider that the city usually fills up for the Palio, so securing your accommodation quickly is advisable.
In the evening of Friday, May 27th there will be an outreach event open to the general public. Below you can see the poster and the abstract of the event . Please note that the event will be in Italian.
