The CINECA ISCRA Class B “Project Medical physIcs and RAdiation in Crystals simuLation with gEant4” (IsB24_MIRACLE, October 25, 2021 – January 25, 2023, PI: Alexei Sytov) for supercomputing time at CINECA Marconi-100 and Galileo-100 supercomputers has been successfully accomplished! These project unified the activity of Italian INFN Geant4 community within MC_INFN and TRILLION projects on various topics including simulations of FLASH radiotherapy and biological damage, Gold nanoparticles for radiotherapy of breast cancer, internal dosimetry of salivary glands (SGs) in nuclear medicine procedures and channeling and channeling radiation physics.
