GRBM Catalog of GRBs

The main output of this GRB search is the GRBM catalog of GRBs, including 944 bursts detected within the time period July 3, 1996 - October 3, 2001. Among them, 46 are in common with the WFC/BeppoSAX catalog, 20 with the set of bursts triangulated with the IPN, 7 with ASM/RXTE and 3 with HETE-II; the bursts in common with BATSE amount to 362: out of them, 283 belong to the BATSE 4B catalog and the remaining with the two non-triggered BATSE bursts: 18 with the catalog by Kommers, 61 with the catalog by Stern et al. (these subsets have been filled so that every burst belongs to a unique subset: e.g., a WFC burst that has been detected also with BATSE has been included in the WFC subset only, since the WFC yielded the best position, and so on: the priority adopted is the following: WFC, IPN, ASM, HETE, BATSE 4B, Kommers', Stern's). About 50% bursts of the GRBM catalog have been detected only by the GRBM/BeppoSAX, while for the others some independent informations (e.g. the arrival direction) were available.
