On-line Quest.

In the time period from Apr 2000 to Dec 2001 229 true GRBs have been automatically detected within a few hours after the occurrence times, showing an average rate of $\sim 0.5$ burst/day (excluding the periods of time, during which the on-line search was not operating). Among these on-line detected bursts, 18 were positioned with high accuracy by means of IPN triangulations with the contribution of the GRBM; 9 were detected also by the WFCs; in particular, three of them were missed by the GRBM on-board trigger logic, and, therefore, detected thanks to the only on-line quest. Furthermore, among the on-line quest users there are also people from other missions, like ASM/RXTE and HETE-II: this way, they can easily recognize some bursts detected with own detectors, when these events have been detected by the GRBM/BeppoSAX as well; this happened in several cases. In any case, one of the main advatanges of the on-line quest resides in the automatic rejection of false on-board triggers, not due to GRBs, that are $\sim$ 96% of the whole set of on-board triggers.
