Open High Resistivity Profile 02/12/2003

  • In following pictures it is possible to see a certain kind of black dust accumulated below the wire on the coating surface.

  • In pictures appear the open profile and behind the scatter plot which show a kind of mapping of the tube obtained from the coincidence between wire and ortogonal strip (the area of the box is proportional to the counting rate in the region of intersection between wire and strip) (for more details on mapping see profile 1, profile 2).

  • In the bottom of the page there is picture of the wire.

    Wires

  • In these two profile we have also seen that in certain regions the wires have not silver color, but it seems to be red, something like an oxidation. Generally the wire is red in corrispondence of the black dust, but there are also some little red region on the wire where no dust is found.
